   I caught it! It took me time but I finally saw the difference in the photographs. What’s up with that anyway? I’m thinking all kinds of funny things here. Maybe it’s some sort of progression for the prophet. Anyway, I’m sure he has an image consultant who takes care of these things. Isn’t it amazing how Mormonism can change so quickly. What Joseph Smith could have done with PhotoShop!

   I really hope the complexity of your humor is showing, and that you’re therefore not really confused as to who was and wasn’t responsible for the photoshop here. Well, I can only hope…

   FWIW, as a U of Utah grad, President Monson looks pretty natural in red. And when he’s speaking on U campus, he’s not above taking shots at BYU.

   Mr. Monson’s gesture at the Jazz game last year only shows his arrogance and pride.

   From interrupting a Jazz game to asking people to do good works for others to celebrate his birthday. What about doing good works for others in celebration of Jesus?

   How can anyone follow this prideful man, when they could be following Jesus instead?

   I would like to know what your relationship with Monson is that you can make such a judgement on his character. Bearing false witness will bring grave consequences. Fair warning.

    Many Ev comments seem in line with 1 John 2:4, 1 John 2:9 and even 1 John 4:20.
    I am often amazed at how many Ev, who claim to follow the “correct” Gospel seem to have conveniently omitted 1 John 4:7-11 from their study of that text.

    DotF, weren’t you making a judgment on my character, no so long ago? Is it just a judgment on Monson’s character that will bring grave consequences then?

    hahaha … grave consequences. send me a book of mormon and i’ll throw it on the grill next time i cook for family and friends, notwithstanding calling monson a heretical, pride-filled, blaspheme on the evening news. dust your shoes of at me door and i’ll show you some consequence.

    they (my previous comments) did mean what you “think they did”. being a former mormon (over a decade), i don’t wish anything improper to happen to good people. i understand the blindness of the “flock” of followers. i just thing it’s getting to the point of rhetorical jargon. same story, different day. the b of m is nothing more than kindling for a bonfire in my opinion. for a religion that can be (demonstrably) proved wrong, and for the arrogance by mormons that lingers … for the temples that ruin the landscapes of beautiful cities, and for a false-prophet who is condemning individuals and families to an ultimate demise … what else is there to say? they, the hierarchy of the church indoctrinate the youth. families do the same, albeit it, unknowingly – hitler, mao, stalin would be delighted. yet you’re offended that i make an “uncalled for” statement? wow.
