All You’ll Ever Need
By Andrew Peterson
The blood of Jesus, it is like the widow’s oil
It’s enough to pay the price to set you free
It can fill up every jar and every heart that ever beat
When it’s all you have it’s all you’ll ever need
The blood of Jesus, it is like the leper’s river
Running humble with a power you cannot see
Seven times go under, let the water wash you clean
Only go down in the Jordan and believe
And I need it, I need it, the closer that I grow
The more I come to know how much I need it
The blood of Jesus it is like Elijah’s fire
Falling on the altar of your faith
All the wisdom of the world could never conjure up a spark
But no power of Hell could ever quench this flame
No power of Hell could ever touch this flame
And I need it, I need it, the closer that I grow
The more I come to know how much I need the blood of Jesus
The blood of Jesus, it is like the widow’s oil
When it’s all you have it’s all you’ll ever need

What an interesting choice of words
“Ah I get it now. Because I’m “insincere” it’s too much for the atonement to handle? I don’t know… sounds very alien to me”
Of course it’s alien to you, it’s scriptural, I have to assume from your words that people who are insincere, i.e. don’t mean what they say, are saved. Thank you for that, now I understand why you thought that a few mouse clicks brought you salvation.
Sorry Jason, I said a while back that if you were given enough rope you would hang yourself, guess what, you just did.
Jason, we’re good at drumming up things that don’t exist ? Funny, but what I pointed out that
does exist is your testimony of yawning at the news that if half your membership should leave
that this news would’nt mean a thing to you . Now you might have a change of heart and testimony
on this if you try spending more time in prayer over this , hopefully that will stop your yawning.
I’m sure it does. “let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.”Hebrews 10:22
Face it Jason, sincerity is not your bag. That is why it is so “alien” to you. “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise” Psalm 51:17
I’m sure you think you are having fun. But really, the joke’s on you isn’t it? Because you know what you are Jason. You know. That bitterness and envy to be a real happy, loving, Christian must be eating you alive. Poor Jason.
Rick, you too – keep it coming. Post every possible scripture and make every possible argument showing how I cannot possibly be saved after reading some bible chapters, saying a prayer and accepting Christ. Please keep the evidence flowing. Loving this more than you can imagine.
Sorry Old Man,
The “insincere” bit was in ‘quotes’ – maybe you don’t know what that means. The point was that Grindael has NO way of knowing my sincerity. Period. This SO good!
Mike, Old Man, Grindael, Rick et al – please continue posting how you are 100% positive that I am not saved after a private prayer in my own home where you were not there. Keep making your case for why that method of salvation is a FAILURE. Amazing you guys still have not caught on.
Keep bringing scripture and verse. Unload!

Read again what you said, “Because I’m “insincere” it’s too much for the atonement to handle?”
Quotes are used when writing a direct quote from another person, in this case a word that Grindael used when pointing out something very obvious, namely that the atonement does not apply unless a person is sincere. If you wished to say that he had no way of knowing whether you were sincere or not you would have said as much. Your use of insincere in the above context is obvious; the implication being that the atonement should cover insincerity. Your use of quotes is irrelevant &
perhaps you need to examine your understanding of English.
Jason, now your testimony is that I have posted to you that I am 100% sure that you’re
not saved ? I have spent hardly any time talking with you , so when did I personally say
this to you ?
Mike R,
You might know this but in case you dont I thought I would let you know, Jason has also accused me of saying things that I never said, so when I asked him to quote me saying it and when and where, He never did. So this shows to me just how dishonest he really is. He wont admit he was wrong, because if he does, we will point out he could be wrong on other issues, and Jason cant have that. But when we can prove he is wrong, he ignores us like we never said anything.
So all you lurkers that think Jason knows what he is talking about, please feel free to go back, read everything we said to him, and you will notice he avoids are questions and after accusing us of stuff that he is called out on, he just ignores us, If thats ok with you guys that he does this, then good luck trusting him. If he acts like that with us, how can he honestly be trusted to know what he claims?
It’s only a failure for YOU Jason, because you are insincere. Amazing you still haven’t caught on.
Jason, now your testimony is that I have posted to you that I am 100% sure that you’re
not saved ? I have spent hardly any time talking with you , so when did I personally say
this to you ?
Mike, fair enough. However, do you agree with Grindael that my Roman’s Road walk to salvation is bogus since, as he says, I was “insincere” at the time of the prayer? Remember Mr. G was not at my house at the time nor has he ever been.
So. Do you agree or do you reject outright Grindael’s claims that my salvation walk was a failure?
Jason,
I’m saying you are insincere and NOT a Christian. You are adding all the rest. You can CLAIM anything, but your own words say otherwise. You said,
You already said you disagreed that this was the way to salvation, hence your saying that you believe it now is insincere. You are a liar. Case closed.
Jason, now that you have admitted your testimony concerning the above issue was false
witness , perhaps I will address your question . I’m sure you’re not going to like my response,
and quite frankly until I notice a change in attitude on your part I’m not going to waste my time
going any further on this particular issue . Can you understand this ? Now, just because someone
was not present with you when you prayed your prayer does that mean someone cannot know if
if you were sincere or not ? That’s not an easy question , but since the Holy Spirit can give a
person the ability to discern things , even detecting the truth about one’s sincerity in testifying
of an spiritual experience , then I believe Grindael and others here could have that gift.
I will say the way you went about tauting your opinion did’nt do you any favors . D&C 46:27
mentions what discernment from the Spirit can do : ” …. to discern all those gifts lest there any
among you professing and yet be not of God.” (Mormons don’t own this gift ). Hopefully this
principle will help explain what I’m referring to in addressing your question etc.
That’s all I have to say for now. I’m going to bed.
